Product Description
Cetrimonium Chloride (1631) is a cationic surfactant, it is suitable for products such as softener and hair conditioner. It can be used as a softening agent for waterproof coatings, natural fibers, synthetic fibers and glass fibers, phase transfer catalysts, accelerators for silkification of polyester, release agents and defoamers for latex products, and softeners.

Applications
- It is used in shampoo, hair care products, as washing conditioner (hair rinse) and conditioner in daily chemical industry.
- Used as a bactericide in industrial water treatment such as petroleum, papermaking, food processing, textiles, etc.
- It can be used as an antistatic agent in natural and synthetic fibers, plastics, papermaking and other industries, leather softeners, fiber softeners, paint finishing agents, and emulsifiers for asphalt and high-temperature resistant water-in-oil emulsified mud.
- Used as anti-sticking agent in latex industry, catalyst for organic synthesis, corrosion inhibitor for metals and alloys.
- It can also be used as dispersant, coagulant aid, duckweed killer, etc.
- It has good compatibility with cationic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants.
- It is used to emulsify silicone oil, emulsifier of hair conditioner, fiber softener and antistatic agent, can be used to soften and isolate paper, and be used as corrosion inhibitor in pickling industry.
